The Colombian port of Necoclí, the first point of entry to the dangerous immigration route that crosses the Darién jungle, in search of reaching Central America to the United States, has seen a notorious reduction in the flow of travelers.

The Necoclí dock, located in the Gulf of Urabá, in the Colombian Caribbean, had up to 22,000 migrants damaged in this town of some 40,000 inhabitants. In addition, according to the Ombudsman of Colombia, more than 400 thousand people crossed the Darién cap last year.
