This Saturday, January 8, the payment service could instantly submit intermittences because the Swift Corporation, responsible for providing financial communication services to entities around the world, will carry out its usual world exercise of business continuity on its platform.
The intermittences would be recorded between 12:00 noon and 11:00 at night.
The information was offered by the Central Bank of the Dominican Republic (BCRD), through a statement.
The BCRD apologizes for the inconveniences that this situation can cause and appreciate the understanding of the users, highlighting that this type of exercises are fundamental to ensure the quality and safety of the payment messaging service provided by Swift worldwide.
