A working group (WG) formed by representatives of the Brazilian government and the US government (USA) monitored the flight that came out on Friday (7) bringing back 111 Brazilians.
The aircraft made a new course for the return of the deported Brazilians. The flight departed from the dawn of Alexandria, in the state of Luisiana, southern US, above the Gulf of Mexico. And it arrived shortly after 4 pm, with an hour late in relation to the forecast. There was scheduled scale in Puerto Rico.
The first flight departed from the United States to Manaus and made a scale in Panama. The new route arriving by the coast has a symbolic load: prevents repatriated Brazilians from being handcuffed at the moment the flight fell over the Brazilian territory.
According to Itamaraty, the flight was accompanied in real time and “will be evaluated with a view to the organization of the following flights.” As initially described by Brazil agencythe boarding of Brazilians was assisted by the Brazilian Consulate in Houston.
The monitoring WG is formed by representatives of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Justice and Public Security and the Federal Police, on the Brazilian side; and by representatives of the United States Customs Immigration and Control Service and by representatives of the American Embassy in Brasilia.
In Fortaleza, free of handcuffs and chains, Brazilians embarked by flight from the Brazilian Air Force to Belo Horizonte. In the mining capital, Brazilians will be received by the Minister of Human Rights and Citizenship, Macaé Evaristo.
In addition to feeding in the welcome there will be service for vaccination and enrollment in the school network. There are children and adolescents among the repatriads.
Air force
In a statement, the Brazilian Air Force (FAB) reported that a KC-30 aircraft of the second squad of the second transport group (2nd/2nd GT-CORRY SQUARE) took off from Fortaleza à 6:55 pm this Friday (7), carrying Brazilians who returned to Brazil from the United States.
According to FAB, the little aircraft at Confins International Airport, in the Belo Horizonte Metropolitan Region, is scheduled for 9:20 pm today.
