His pulse did not tremble to make decisions even sometimes out of the law, as the Constitutional Court has ruled in several controversies, as irregularly enacting by decree a rule that had previously denied the National Assembly (Parliament).
Thus, last April he ordered the police assault on the Mexico Embassy to detain former Vice President Correísta Jorge Glas, who had received diplomatic asylum by declaring himself persecuted politician for the sentences and corruption processes that he accumulates since 2017 in Ecuador.

Raised in a house where politics was breathed, he trained in prestigious foreign institutions and was focused on family businesses before making the leap to the political arena as an assemblyman in 2021.
