A problem in the national financial system network caused PIX instabilities early Friday afternoon (7). The instant transfer system was down on some banks and for some users. According to the Central Bank (BC), the situation is being normalized throughout the afternoon.
In a statement, the BC – responsible for managing the Pix – said the problem did not reach the agency’s systems, but affected the national financial system network, which connects financial institutions to the Central Bank.
“BC systems work normally. Some participants have faced difficulties in accessing BC systems due to problems in the national financial system network. Network contingency plans were triggered. The situation is already returning to normal, ”the BC said in a statement.
