CICPC Homicide Division discharged on Johnny Alexander Coronel Borges, (31), who was under investigation for his alleged involvement in the murder of Samantha Rachel Ramírez González and for crimes related to the illicit possession of narcotic substances.
The director of the police force, Douglas Rico, said that the dejected was part of a dangerous criminal gang, called the Smurfs.
The event occurred in an armed confrontation in the first grill sector, in the Petare parish of the Sucre municipality, Miranda state. Colonel tried to evade his capture when he realized the presence of police forces.
The persecution culminated with a shooting when the deceased, instead of surrendering, opened fire against the officials, who were forced to respond to the aggression.
Colonel was urgently transferred to Domingo Luciani Hospital, from El Llanito, where he died shortly after his admission.
