The Ethics Commission Parliamentary of Congress, chaired by Alex Paredes Gonzales, of the Magisterial Block, unanimously approved a report that recommends sanctioning the congressman Paul Gutiérrez Ticona with a public written warning due to his negligence in the elaboration of five bills, in which the use of the use of artificial intelligence.
The ex officio complaint arose following an investigation that revealed that the parliamentarian had used artificial intelligence for the drafting of bills 7780, 7172, 7888, 7840 and 7889, all presented in 2023. Report must be seen in the plenary.

Although the final report, corresponding to file 1779-2023-2024/CEP-CRhe concluded that plagiarism was not evidenced in the legislative formulation or in the exposition of reasons, the commission stressed that the congressman committed an oversight by withdrawing the responses generated by the artificial intelligence of the exposition of reasons, which constitutes a significant carelessness.
