The Pension Standardization Office (ONP) has taken a new step in the digitalization of its processes and now allows its affiliates to make optional (or volunteer) contributions through the Yape and Plin digital wallets.
This measure is part of the ONP plan to continue bringing the services of the institution closer to all affiliates in order to decongest face -to -face attention and expedite the procedures through the use of technology.
How to yapear or plinear to the ONP? Here we explain the process:
1. You must download the Izipayya digital wallet
2. Connection with Izipayya: Izipayya acts as an interoperable digital wallet, which means that you can receive funds from other digital wallets such as Yape and Plin.
3. Fund transfer: YAPE or PLIN users can transfer money to their account in Izipay.
4. Payment of contributions: Once the funds are in Izipay, they can be used to pay the optional contributions to the ONP.
Who can use this tool?
This modality is aimed at independent workers, but is also available for those affiliates with mandatory contributions who wish to increase the amount of their pension.
