“We as the Foreign Ministry, we have made a series of efforts in favor of Mr. Huamanchumo Castillo, who is disappeared, actually detained, since last September 22, Ricardo Meléndez Guerrero and Mr. Madrid Martínez. We presume that they are in custody of The General Directorate of Military Counterintelligence Made efforts at all levels.
“I have talked to the United Nations High Commissioner (UN),” the Chancellor continued, “and I have requested you verbally and written, and I have asked that this be raised as a serious violation of human rights in Venezuela of the regime of the regime of (Nicolás) Maduro.
