The Brazilian Vanessa Molon was the general champion of the European Snowboard Cup, played in Kühtai (Austria) and that reached the end last Monday (3). To achieve this feat, the gaucho athlete won two silver medals at this stage of the competition
Molon’s first silver was obtained on Sunday (2) in the Banked Slalom race in the Upper Limb category. For this the Brazilian did the time of 1min32s23, being surpassed only by the Dutch Emke Vessen, who finished the race with a time of 1min31s93.
One day later, on Monday, Vanessa climbed the podium once more, staying again in second place, behind only Emke Vaessen. With the sum of the results of the previous steps, the Brazilian was in 1st place overall of the European Snowboard Cup.
“Vanessa already had a score to participate in the World Cup […]. However, we opted for the Europa Cup dispute at this stage because of the possibility of title, which was confirmed, ”said the coach of the Brazilian Paralympic Snowboard team, Nuno Marques, better known as Mancha.
