He United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) installed a congress this Tuesday, February 4. From this instance the method to choose the candidates for the regional and legislative elections convened by the National Electoral Council (CNE) will be released for April 27.
The event will be until February 7 and will also aim to organize the historical block of the party and define the communal structure of the organization for political purposes.
The youth of the PSUV also participate in the day. Diosdado Cabello, the first vice president of the PSUV said on Monday, February 3 that the call is due to the provisions of the organization’s standards and bases for political purposes.

In 2021 the PSUV, when the elections of governors and mayors, submitted to its bases to a similar process that ended in complaints of irregularities. On this occasion, the CNE called elections of the National Assembly and governors and deputies of the legislative councils of each entity.
