The US Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, reported that the interim director of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) was appointed. The information was announced by the same Blond Upon arriving at El Salvador to meet with Nayib Bukele.
Hours before, Donald Trump’s government advisor, Elon Musk, said the president agreed to close the agency, in charge of distributing most of humanitarian aid abroad.
So far, details of this appointment are unknown.
