According to Colombia Migration reports, there are 77 visible active points in 28 of the 32 departments of Colombia, which are spaces designed to facilitate the access of Venezuelan migrants to regularization processes.
In addition to issuing permits, visible points offer technical assistance and guidance to migrants, helping them to understand the benefits of the temporal protection statute and the necessary steps to access the available services. This integral approach seeks not only to regularize the immigration status of Venezuelans, but also promote their integration into the reception communities.
Colombia is the country that houses more Venezuelan migrants, with a total of 2,808,165, of these, 2.6 million have the temporal protection permit (PPT).
