A vessel with 19 people on board sank on Saturday afternoon (1st) on the coast of Armação de Buzios, in the state of Rio de Janeiro. The boat was near Rasa beach.
According to the Navy, the driver and the 18 passengers were rescued alive and without injuries by vessels that were nearby. Only a 67 -year -old woman had to be sent to Rodolpho Perisse Municipal Hospital by the Fire Department, according to the Navy.
According to the port captaincy, the vessel had the documentation up to date and the driver is qualified. An administrative inquiry will be open to investigate causes, circumstances and possible responsibilities for the accident.
