Who is José Gabriel Cuadra?
José Gabriel Cuadra is the current director of the Economic Studies Area of the Bank of Mexico. He has held that position since 2018.
He has been an economic researcher within the Central Bank and monetary policy manager.
He studied the Economics career at ITAM and a doctorate as at the University of Rochester.
Cuadra would occupy the place left Irene Espinosa last December; Analysts asked that whoever replaced him was someone with experience in Central Banking.
