Officials of the Corps of Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigations (CICPC) arrested a detective belonging to this security body and a sexagenarian for dedicating themselves to making false complaints in order to introduce procedures for processes of political asylums.
The information was announced by the director of this agency, Douglas Rico, in his account on the social network Instagram, where he explained that the subjects, identified as Jeremy José Contreras Rodríguez (23) and Fernando Enrique Rondón Caballero (67) were apprehended On Montalbán 01, La Vega Parish, Liberator Municipality of the Capital District.
“Through an exhaustive work of documentary experts, it was determined that Contreras operated with another criminal who is resident in the United States,” he explained.
“Therefore, it was dedicated to making false complaints, simulating a punishable fact, in order to introduce procedures for processes of political asylums abroad, obtaining economic benefits to the detriment of the Venezuelan State, represented by the CICPC, for an amount of 50 dollars, ”said Rico, adding that the sexagenarian was responsible for removing the role.
He mentioned that during the arrest two cell phones and 50 currencies.
The Seventh Prosecutor’s Office in the matter of corruption of the Public Ministry of the Metropolitan Area of Caracas is aware of the criminal act presented.
