The State Department has restored the restricted list of Cuba, which prohibits certain transactions with companies controlled by Cuban military, intelligence or security services. This list includes entities that oppress and monitor the Cuban people while controlling significant sectors of the country’s economy as is the case of Gaesa, an economic arm of the army.
