Santo Domingo.- The National Meteorology Office (ONAMET) predicted scattered rains for this Friday, due to the incidence of cloud fields associated with a trough, which shows from a disintegrated cold front on the Atlantic Ocean.
The rains will be more noticeable in the provinces of the Atlantic Coast and it is expected that these rains will extend gradually towards several municipalities of the provinces: La Altagracia, El Seibo, Hato Mayor, La Romana, Monte Plata, the great Santo Domingo, San Cristóbal, San José de Ocoa, Monsignor Nouel, Duarte, Sánchez Ramírez, La Vega, Peravia, Azua, among others in the southwest region, the Central Mountains and the border area.
These rainfall could continue to occur intermittently at night and morning.
Tomorrow Saturday Precipitation will be reduced and a sky with scattered clouds is expected for much of the day. It is only expected that the east/northeast wind, together with its interaction with the orography of the national territory to generate isolated and weak rains in some locations in the northeastern and southwest regions, mainly during the early hours of the morning and at the end of the night . In addition, in the early morning, isolated showers of short duration could occur in some locations of the Atlantic coast.
The temperatures will be fresh and pleasant at night and early hours, mainly in the mountainous areas and valleys inside the countrydue to the time of the year and to the fresh wind of northeast direction.
