The platform is designed for digital nomads and people who seek to send or receive remittances from other countries.

Florence stressed that in a context in which President Donald Trump seeks to catalog drug cartels as terrorist organizations, complying with crime prevention is essential for the platform.
“The whole issue of safety, compliance and financial crime we take it very seriously. Wise has several mechanisms as a customer recognition system to be able to profile them in the proper way,” he said.
In the event that a client gave signs of committing an illicit via the platform, the operation can be blocked.
