The unitary platform expects Donald Trump to review the recently approved migratory measures, which include the revocation of the possibility of renewing TPS, and that affect thousands of Venezuelans.

The parties coalition referred to the subject in an X publication, formerly Twitter, this Wednesday, January 29. He recalled that the citizen exodus occurred due to political, economic and social crises that deepened with the administration of Nicolás Maduro.

“For this reason, we expect from the Trump administration to review the immigration measures taken recently, always looking, within the framework of the law, the best conditions for the protection of Venezuelans who have made their new home from the American territory and that with their honest work contribute to the development of the United States; especially to the more than 600 thousand compatriots that are directly affected with the extent of the extension related to the validity of the TPS ”, wrote The platform.

He advocated that immediately, he was satisfactory to this situation that has generated a great concern in Venezuelans.

On the other hand, he pointed out that he accompanies, the initiative of the new US administration to confront the criminal gangs that have been acting in American territory and in many countries in the region as is the case of the terrorist organization called « Aragua train ».

The platform made the petition on the same day as the United States National Security Secretary Kristi Noem, confirmed that the extent of the temporal protection statute (TPS) for Venezuelans in that country was revoked.

In an interview with Fox News, Noem pointed out that an executive order was signed that annulled the measure issued by its predecessor, Alejandro Mayorkas, saying that it meant “that they were going to be able to stay here and violate our laws for another 18 months.”

He pointed out that they can now evaluate Venezuelans “including those of the Aragua train.”
