Santo Domingo.-The president of the Senate, Ricardo de los Santos, greeted this Monday that the new Secretary of State for the United States, Marco Rubio, includes the Dominican Republic as one of the first countries he will visit in the route he will carry out by different Latin American countries.

He indicated that this is a clear sign of the political, social and economic stability of RD.

Of the Saints, he stressed that also, that sends a sign of the support for the Dominican Republic of the Donald Trump government, and that “that full of satisfaction because with that visit the ties between both nations will be strengthened.”

He stressed that the United States is the main economic socio of the Dominican Republic.

Ricardo de los Santos said that he understands that this visit will be the Haiti crisis that has decades and where the bands have practically taken the control of Haiti.

He reiterated that in the country the immigration policy is that, the one that is legally not touched, as in other countries.

The senator for the province of Sánchez Ramírez valued the excellent work of the General Directorate of Migration, which announced that it will put an office in each province.

Ricardo de los Santos said to expect Haiti to carry out a free and democratic elections and that activities are normalized so that he can live with institutionality.
