The Civil Defense of the State of São Paulo issued a special bulletin, for the period from Sunday (26) to Tuesday (28), scheduled to rain throughout the state. These weather conditions will be caused by the passage of a cold front, which will bring rain showers accompanied by lightning and gusts of wind.
The forecast of high intensity rain, with accumulated ups, covers the state capital, metropolitan region of São Paulo, Paraíba Valley, Serra da Mantiqueira, North Coast, Campinas and Sorocaba, Baixada Santista, Ribeira Valley, Itapeva region, Franca , Barretos, Ribeirão Preto, Bauru and Araraquara.
For the regions of Presidente Prudente, Marília, Araçatuba and São José do Rio Preto, the forecast is of rain of moderate intensity, but with accumulated high.
Crisis
The Civil Defense will be in person on Monday (27), the Crisis Office at the Emergency Management Center (CGE) to coordinate actions related to planned climate events. Between Monday and Tuesday (28), there is a forecast of higher accumulated rainfall, as well as strong intensity, said the agency.
Public service regulatory companies, representatives of water and energy concessionaires also operate in the cabinet.

The Civil Defense guides that the population adopts precautionary measures to minimize the risks arising from heavy rains. “It is essential to avoid flooding areas and not crossing flooded roads, even by car. It is also important to be aware of signs of landslides, such as tilt of posts, trees or cracks on land and walls, ”warned the organ.
In addition, during strong winds, it should be maintained from trees, poles and fragile structures. In case of lightning storms, disconnect electronic devices from the outlet.
