The appointment of Rojas, who currently serves as Deputy Director of Programs and Projects of the Department of Social Prosperity (DPS), becomes official with the issuance of the issuance of the Decree 0059 of January 23, 2025.

Who is María Fernanda Rojas?
According to the resume published in the DPS, Rojas served as director of the Urban Development Institute (IDU) in the mayor of Gustavo Petro. He was in charge of the entity between 2012 and 2013.
The official was also councilor of Bogotá for eight years and president of this corporation in 2021. In addition, she directed the International Relations Office of the National Electoral Council and advised budgetary issues of the implementation of the Peace Agreements.
