The Deputy Minister of Consumer Defense, Jorge Silva, indicated that The National Government and the Riceros agreed a new meeting for February where they will determine product prices during this year, according to the state media report.
“It has been agreed that the next meeting is going to be held on February 6 in the municipality of Trinidad (Beni),” said Silva.
According to the vice minister, The National Government and the Riceros entered an intermediate room at the last meeting, To address the issue of prices.
“An intermediate room because this is a very technical issue that merits greater debate, greater knowledge about technical data, especially, to determine product prices during management 2025 “he explained.
Regarding fuels for the sector, the commitment is that in the next meeting the Ministry of Hydrocarbons and Energies can participate, “with an objective and concrete proposal that meets the demands of the sector.”
Finally, he added that legal certainty is guaranteed for the productive sector.
