The Prosecutor’s Office Santo Domingo East and North achieved that a court of this jurisdiction will condemn 20 years in prison for a man who took the life of another. The homicide was recorded in 2023, in the El Almirante sector.
The conviction was imposed on Diogenes Enmanuel Gil Cepeda, alias el Ñato, for the First Court Collegiate of this jurisdiction, chaired by Judge Elizabeth Esperanza Rodríguez Espinal, and made up of Judges Flor E. Batista Polo and José Leonel Asencio Quezada, for the homicide by Wilman Alexander Polanco Peralta, alias Moreno.

He record instrumented by investigative prosecutor Franklyn N. Céspedes, reveals that the event occurred the early morning on October 26, 2022, on Quinta Street, Las Toronjas neighborhood, in the El Almirante sector of this municipality.

During the trial, the Ministry Public, represented by prosecutors litigants Evelyn Peña and Alexis Casado, demonstrated the criminal liability of the person currently convicted, regarding the violation of articles 295 and 304 of the Dominican Penal Code.
The conviction must be fulfilled by the aggressor at the La Victoria National Penitentiary.
