According to the first investigations, two subjects on board a motorcycle intercepted “La Diabla” on the outskirts of a hotel and was shot multiple times. The victim, who had been staying in a nearby hotel in the area for several days, could not survive the attack.
The report from the Security Information System states the following: “He has 2 wounds on the face, 2 wounds on the left forearm and 1 wound in the intercostal region, caused by a firearm.” So far, it has been established that Sánchez Polanco was a romantic partner of Alexander González Pérez, alias “El Calvo”who was murdered in December 2024 in the department of Magdalena.
In the case, it is known that alias “La Diabla” would have arrived in Medellín a little over a week ago. The Police used security cameras in that same sector to identify those responsible for the murder.

The authorities hypothesize that the murder of “La Diabla” would be part of a settling of accounts between criminal gangs, within the framework of a dispute for control of the territory.
At the scene, authorities found an abandoned motorcycle that, apparently, was used by the hitmen to escape. Likewise, a fingerprint of one of the criminals was found on the motorcycle.
