Santo Domingo. – The Dominican Institute of Meteorology (Indomet) reported that a weak trough over the Mona channel will be providing a slight increase in rainfall during this Thursday.
In that sense, the entity indicated that some cloudy in the morning hours that will leave occasional downpours in provinces such as La Altagracia, El Seibo, La Romana, San Pedro de Macorís, Hato Mayor and Samaná.
Likewise, he indicated that during the afternoon, the humidity associated with said trough will continue to move over the local forecast area, generating scattered and moderate rains in some points, especially in the provinces of Monte Plata, Sánchez Ramírez, La Vega, Monseñor Nouel, Santiago, Azua, San Juan, Barahona, Independencia and Bahoruco.
He added that the temperatures will continue to be pleasant during the night until the early hours of the day due to the current time of year, especially towards mountain areas in the interior of the country.
