Vasco’s winning goal was the work of the team’s top scorer. In the 23rd minute of the first half, midfielder Nenê crossed with perfection to Raniel, who did not forgive.
Who also advanced playing away from home was Paysandu, who, at Zerão, in Macapá, beat Trem 3-0. Papão, who triumphed with goals from Genílson, Mikael and Dioguinho, took CSA.
