The Minister of Interior Relations, Justice and Peace, Diosdado Cabello, said on the night of this Wednesday, January 22, during his program Con el Mazo Dando that he agreed with the president of the United States, Donald Trump, to declare the Tren de Aragua as an organization terrorist.

“We agree, we support Trump and we take the opportunity to tell him that he has the Aragua Train partners there in the United States, just in case he didn’t know, he has them there,” Cabello said.

This Wednesday, the Public Ministry asked to hand over the members of the Aragua Train, who are detained abroad so that they can be extradited and prosecuted by the Venezuelan authorities and “receive the maximum penalty”, which is 30 years in prison. However, the prosecutor’s office itself said on Monday that this gang did not exist; in the past it had already said that it was part of a campaign against Venezuela.

The Minister of the Interior also showed a blue wallet again, as a joke for which María Corina Machado was reported missing on January 9, when she was detained in Caracas and later released. Besides, linked Machado to Wilexis Acevedo Monasterio, alias “Wilexis”leader of the homonymous gang that had devastated the Petare area, who was reported as if killed by Cabello himself this Wednesday morning.

“Talking phone, everything here is known, they know how we got to Wilexis, through two phones, we are not stupid,” said Diosdado Cabello in relation to the case.

On January 20, Cabello assured in a press conference that the Aragua Train, declared a terrorist organization by the president of the United States, Donald Trump, would have received support and financing from Venezuelan opponents in exile.

The minister linked the organization with figures of the Venezuelan opposition, such as María Corina Machado, Juan Guaidó, Leopoldo López and Julio Borges, among others. In addition, it included the former Colombian presidents, Andrés Pastrana, Juan Manuel Santos, Álvaro Uribe Vélez and Iván Duque.
