The Colombian Arab Chamber of Commerce (CCAC) announced this Wednesday the fsigning a memorandum of understanding with Kizada port entity of the Emirati Government in order to offer the country’s companies more possibilities for expansion.

“This is a joint effort to promote business by offering effective benefits to Colombian companies that see internationalization as a growth opportunity. Likewise, leverage the commercialization processes to a market of more than 3,400 million people”the CCAC said in a statement.
Kizad will make his first official visit to a Latin American country and Colombia was chosen, in a tour that closes next March 5. The delegation is headed by Khalid Al Marzooqi, commercial director, and Valeriya Grabovskaya, business director, with whom an agenda has been planned between Bogotá, Medellín, and the department of Boyacá.
According to information from ProColombia, exports of non-mining energy goods from Colombia to the United Arab Emirates grew by nearly 38%, registering US$32 million in 2021. A growth by 2022 of 4%, while for the year 2030 the goal will be US$130 million. A total of 110 companies as of June 2021 exported to the emirate.

“It is not enough to participate in fairs and missions, it is necessary to have an entity that is in charge of giving continuity to projects and businesses”, affirmed Cecilia Porras, president of the CCAC.
Thanks to the alliance between the CCAC and Kizad, the company Latin America Business Center was born, which with preferential rates andn each of the service packages, “makes it possible for Colombian companies to establish their operation in the United Arab Emirates.”

By signing this alliance with Kizad and installing our operation together with a multidisciplinary team, we will fulfill the objective of creating relationships that result in business through a safe port, guaranteeing a sustainable traffic flow and a solid regulatory environment”, says Juliana Cabrejo, CEO of Latin America Business Center LBC, whose headquarters are located in Abu Dhabi.
