The National Police has reported that it is in an active search for the renowned criminal Andrés de los Santos (Yanepa) and his accomplice Leandro Carmona, who are accused of being responsible for a series of violent crimes committed in Santo Domingo Norte, including homicides and injuries by firearm caused to several people.
Yanepa, who has an extensive criminal record, is directly linked to the homicides of Adolfo Vergal Javier (January 13, 2025), José Augusto de la Rosa Doble (January 17, 2025), Guillermo Núñez de la Cruz (January 18, January 2025) and Yimy Muñoz (a) El Peluquero (January 20, 2025). For his part, Leandro Carmona is credited with his participation in the murder of Vergal Javier and the gunshot wounds caused to Núñez Montero and the police officer De los Santos del Rosario.
