The “chaka” Arias, as he is known in the world of soccer, decided to report the incident in the Scams area of the Criminal Investigation Division (Divincri) to recover the money that took him many years to collect.
“There is a process (police complaint) and it will continue. I thought, that’s why I’m here, it’s a discomfort that’s been going on for months. I want peace of mind for my family. “I am focused on my work, I am not a person to be involved in these problems”he pointed out in an interview with the digital media Epa Noticias.
HE BIT THE BAIT
The alleged scam case would have begun in mid-2023. The red and black midfielder initially rejected the offers, but at the insistence and that it was a friend, he agreed to make investments and ‘took the bait’.
During 2024 he made deposits up to the amount of 240 thousand soles that he never saw again. “I want them to pay me my money and tell people to be careful who they mess with. “You never finish getting to know people.” he pointed out.
Alexis Arias is one of the leaders of the red and black team, he asks that they not continue speculating and using his name for future deceptions. “Football is my passion and it bothers me to be in this situation. Out of respect for the club I have to avoid these things. “I’m here for my money, it’s a long-time job.”he pointed out.
The footballer arrived with Melgar’s team of players and technical command from the tour in Colombia. He will let the judicial process take its course and his mind is on having a good championship in Liga 1 Te Apuesta and Copa Libertadores.
