It was decided after a meeting with the authorities and transporters to keep the price of intercity route tickets unchanged despite the leveling of toll prices.
In a meeting held between the director of RD Vial, Jean Luis Rodríguez; the director of the National Institute of Traffic and Land Transportation (Intrant), Milton Morrison; and the president of the National Confederation of Transport Organizations (CONATRA), Antonio Marte, it was ordered to leave the same fare in transport on interurban routes, including those of Piedra Blanca, Villa Altagracia, Las Américas and other areas of short routes.
Jean Luis Rodríguez highlighted: “This agreement reaffirms the government’s commitment to protecting the pockets of Dominicans. “We work for decisions that prioritize citizen well-being without affecting the quality of our road infrastructure.”
