Since January 17, Payments of the Guaranteed Minimum Income (IMG) began corresponding to the first cycle of the year focused on the group of beneficiaries. In this way, more than 256,000 homes in conditions of extreme poverty and vulnerability will be served. “These transfers will be made in a staggered manner, through digital wallets such as: DaviPlata, Nequi, MOVii, Bancolombia a la Mano and Dale. Starting this month, the amount of transfers for seniors increases to $150,000 per month, as an adjustment resulting from inflation.
The groups that will receive aid from the State are:
-Older people: 40,386 beneficiaries.
Homes in category A of Sisbén: 39,120 beneficiaries
-Households with children from 0 to 6 years old in category A of the Sisbén (nutrition component): 16,390 beneficiaries
-Households with children from 0 to 6 years old in Sisbén category B (nutrition component): 59,301 beneficiaries
-Households with children and adolescents from 7 to 17 years old in category A of the Sisbén (education component): 28,320 beneficiaries
-Households with children and adolescents from 7 to 17 years old in category B of the Sisbén (education component): 120,915 beneficiaries
-Additional economic support for transportation for households that receive monetary transfers in Sumapaz:140 beneficiaries.
