The invitation or not of the former presidential candidate and fugitive from justice, Edmundo González, to the inauguration of the recently elected president of the United States, Donald Trump, does not have any type of significance or impact for our country, assured the first vice president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (Psuv), Diosdado Cabello.
“What does it matter to us if that man is invited or not invited. What impact does that have on Venezuelan politics? We don’t care, that has no significance for us, because political decisions are made in Venezuela and this people decided on July 28 that the elected president would be Nicolás Maduro Moros,” Cabello emphasized during the usual weekly press conference of the Psuv. .
In this sense, he criticized the “permanent self-deception” to which the Venezuelan right is subjected and that drags down its own followers. “History is history and lies fall by themselves. They are left exposed alone,” he satirized.
Leaders of the Aragua Train
Likewise, Cabello accused former Colombian presidents Alvaro Uribe and Iván Duque of being the leaders of the Tren de Aragua criminal group. “If you want to find the leaders of the Aragua Train, look for them in Colombia, who are Duque and Uribe. “They have taken them from here to protect them and from there they have committed any number of crimes against our country,” he said.
In this sense, he recalled that the security agencies of the State of Venezuela offered detailed information to the Colombian authorities about the location, in that country, of 16 leaders of the aforementioned criminal organization and they have not taken actions to apprehend them.
“Of the 16 names that we gave them, only one was captured and we have requested his extradition and they do not want to hand him over. We know the control that Álvaro Uribe has over justice in Colombia,” he highlighted.
Likewise, he mentioned the supposed fight that the United States government will undertake against criminal gangs that are in that country and expressed his hopes that in this persecution fugitives from justice like Juan Guaidó will be caught.
“Guaidó and his combo are a criminal organization. “These are criminals who are in the United States protected by the governments there,” he emphasized.
