Organizations that support Trump seek to be a party in Mexico

Among the organizations that expressed their interest as a national political party is Viva Mexico National Movement. The day that Eduardo Verástegui registered it with the INE, he pointed out from his social networks that with his movement an “alternative” was born that defends life, family and fundamental freedoms, and asserted that it was an option for “patriots tired” of corrupt politicians.

The actor has caused controversy for his positions. From his social networks he has made publications against homosexuality and abortion; He has also published messages supporting the presidents of the United States, Donald Trump, and of Argentina, Javier Milei.

For more than four years, the actor has expressed his support and closeness to the American magnate. In 2020, when Donald Trump was president of the United States for the first time, Eduardo Verástegui was appointed White House advisor on the Hispanic Prosperity initiative.

Four years later, when Donald Trump won the Presidency again, the producer and singer also congratulated him and assured that Mexico won with the magnate’s arrival to the US Presidency.

“Today not only the United States wins, but Mexico and all of Latin America also win. We are brothers and no matter how much they want to divide us, the importance of the Mexican and Hispanic community in the United States of America and the relevance of trade is vital for both countries,” he wrote from his social networks.

He also attended the ‘Hispanic Inaugural Ball’ event that was held last Saturday at the Omni Shoreham Hotel, in Washington DC, United States, which was a dinner to celebrate Trump’s presidential inauguration, and attended the inauguration this Monday of the tycoon.

For its part, the organization “Republican Mexico” It also supports the policies of Donald Trump and has Juan Iván Peña Neder as president. He already has experience in the formation of parties, since he contributed to the formation of Progressive Social Networks (RSP), of which he was later a leader; He was also in prison for two years for mass rape against his ex-wife and former PRD deputy Talía Vázquez Alatorre, but in 2013 he was acquitted.

“Today, the formal process for the registration of this organization as a national political party begins, satisfying the requirements of the electoral authority one by one. We will be a true right-wing, firm and purposeful option,” Peña Neder wrote on social networks.

The movement is anti-LGBT community and its website boasts that its general advisor is Larry Rubin, president of the American Society of Mexico and representative of the United States Republican Party in Mexico.

Meanwhile, on his website he defines himself as “conservative” and assures that his political positions are defined based on the country’s priority issues: freedom, security and prosperity.

“Republican Mexico brings together and coordinates the conservative vanguard, made up of citizens committed to the security, family and progress of our nation. We are the first and only political movement with a binational vision, we work to build political representation on both sides of the border,” he mentions.

The organization “Building Peace Societies”headed by leaders of the former Social Encounter Party (PES), also registered with the INE to seek to create a party called “Building Solidarity and Peace” or again PES; The name will be defined in a National Assembly in 2026.

The PES already has history in Mexican politics, having twice obtained registration as a political party at the national level, but has lost it by failing to obtain the necessary vote. In addition, it has been characterized by making an alliance with Morena and for being against abortion and defending the “right to life from conception.”

In 2014, under the name Encuentro Solidario, it obtained registration as a political party at the national level for the first time, but in 2018 it lost it by not obtaining the 3% of the vote at the national level required by the Constitution. On that occasion it reached only 2.78% of the vote cast in the presidential election; 2.43% in the election of senators, and 2.5% for that of deputies.

The second time it obtained registration was in September 2020, but now under the name of Partido Encuentro Solidario. However, in the 2021 elections he lost it again by failing to obtain the required vote. That time it reached 2.85% of the votes cast by deputies for both principles.

The organization is “Mexico has Life” also registered in the process to become a national party, while at the local level in Nuevo León it exists as a “VIDA” party, where they define themselves as a movement that has the family as its pillar.

“We are a movement to rescue the DIGNITY of Mexico through the recovery of ethical and moral VALUES. Where freedom and justice are the main axis of political action, education is the engine of social transformation, and values are the basis of VIDA’s actions. Putting the FAMILY as the center and backbone,” he points out on his website.
