The District Mobility Secretariat (SDM), reminds that Next March 14 is the deadline to obtain discounts of up to 80% for the payment of traffic fines prior to June 30, 2021.

This amnesty, protected by the Social Investment Law, benefits more than 350,000 citizens in Bogotá, who want to catch up.
“From the District Mobility Secretariat we have an important notice for more than 350 thousand citizens, who at this time wish to catch up on the payment of their traffic fines”, announced the Undersecretary of Legal Management, Paulo Rincón.
“At this time, the Social Investment Law operates, where an amnesty is enshrined for all those fines that have been imposed before June 30, 2021. The discounts that operate in the Amnesty Law are 80% of the capital and 100 % interest, in the case of motorcycles, and 50% of the capital and 100% of interest in the case of vehicles”, Rincon explained.

Likewise, the Undersecretary explained that the discounts apply to citizens who pay before March 14 of the current year.
Debtors of fines for vehicle traffic violations, prior to June 30, 2021, they will obtain a discount of 50% of the debt and without interest on arrears and the debtors of fines for traffic violations of motorcycles, Prior to June 30, 2021, they will obtain a discount of 80% of the debt and without interest on arrears.
However, it must be taken into account that people who have been fined for driving under the influence of alcohol or under the influence of psychoactive substances are excluded from these benefits.

To access this benefit, people must enter the website www.movilidadbogota.gov.coclicking on the subpoena consultation button and finally, entering your identity document number or vehicle plate number to access the payment option for each of your current obligations.
