The Government of Nicaragua reported that it accredited 180 electoral companions from various countries for the general elections on November 7, which will be observing the electoral fair on Sunday.
The vice president of Nicaragua, Rosario Murillo, reported this Friday that there will be 180 electoral companions, from Europe, the Russian Federation and America, who will be present in the elections.
“We already have 180 electoral companions who have been increasing from the countries that we mentioned yesterday, in Europe, the Russian Federation and later also in our America, all the countries that we mentioned, adding more brothers from Guatemala and Honduras, who yesterday sent their accreditation, ”he said.
Murillo specified that the electoral companions come from “Abkhazia, Belgium, Spain, France, United Kingdom, Ireland, Italy, South Ossetia, Russia, and from our America: Argentina, Canada, Colombia, Costa Rica, United States, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Uruguay, and Trinidad and Tobago “.
“We are talking about 180 electoral companions who will be with our people on November 7, in that historic electoral day of sovereignty, independence, national identity,” he added.
He stressed that the election day of November 7 will be one of honor and glory for the Nicaraguan families, of peace and good.
The Sandinista National Liberation Front (FSLN), the ruling party in Nicaragua, has said that it expects people to go out to vote en masse in those elections, in which Daniel Ortega is seeking his third consecutive reelection.
