Government thanks Russia for its position on US colonialism

He added that Lavrov’s statement “highlights the unacceptable imposition of puppet presidents on nations that defend sovereign and anti-imperialist projects.”

This week the Russian Foreign Minister said at a press conference that “The West is blinded by its self-proclaimed greatness and impunity and by its self-assigned right to govern the destinies of the world,” in reference to the position of the United States and other Western countries on the recognition of the fugitive. of Justice Edmundo González Urrutia, as supposedly elected president of Venezuela.

Lavrov added that the only thing that shows this position of Western countries is that “democracy means only one thing: doing whatever you want.”
