The elected president of the United States, donald trumpsaid on Sunday that he spoke with the Apple CEO Tim Cook.
“He told me that they are going to make a massive investment in the United States because of our great election victory,” Trump said at a rally before his inauguration on Monday.
The Cupertino, California-based company did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Apple said in 2021 that it plans to commit $430 billion in investments in the United States and add 20,000 new jobs nationwide over a five-year period.
