The General Budget Directorate (Digepres) presented the Budget Information Dashboard for Local Governments, a technological platform that allows easy access to updated information on municipal management, promoting better accountability and citizen participation.
The tool is designed to provide key data, in a visual and understandable way through graphs, tables and statistics in real time so that citizens can consult relevant information from the councils. The activity was headed by José Rijo, general director of Budget, and Víctor D’Aza, general secretary of the Dominican Municipal League.
