Alviverde gaúcho defeated Porto Velho 2-1 at the Aluísio Ferreira stadium (Aluizão), in the capital of Rondônia. The visitors took the lead in the 47th minute of the first half, with Pitta. The tie for Locomotiva do Norte, which is in Serie D of the Brazilian Championship, came two minutes later, with Yan. The people from Maranhão guaranteed BRL 750,000 for moving forward in the Copa do Brasil. In the next phase, Tubarão (which is in Serie B) takes the classified between Portuguesa-RJ and CRB, who also duel this Wednesday, at 21:30, in Luso-Brasileiro, in Rio de Janeiro. The Alagoans advance in case of a tie.
At Baenão, in Belém, Tuna, from Série D of the Brazilian Championship, made the home factor count and defeated Novorizontino, from Série B, by 1 to 0. Defender Lucão, at 12 minutes of the first stage, scored the goal which gave the classification to Águia Guerreira, also entitled to a prize of R$ 750 thousand.
