Increase in pensions
Pensions under Law 73, which are applicable to people who registered with the IMSS before July 1, 1997, will have an annual increase adjustable to inflation.
The Inegi announced that annual inflation closed at a 4.83%a figure that will be applied for the adjustment in 2025 for pensions, so yes there will be an increase starting in February.
Increase in IMSS pension
The adjustment will be 4.21%, taking inflation as a reference. The main beneficiaries will be those who receive the Guaranteed Minimum Pension, in which it is expected that they can see an increase of up to 12% in their monthly payments .
Increase in the ISSSTE pension
Those retired before 1993: (12% increase based on the minimum wage).
Those retired before between 1993 and 2000: (adjustment in accordance with the UMA and will be less than 12%)
Retirees after 2000: increase of 4.21%, taking inflation as a reference.
When is the IMSS deposit?
The payment will be made on Friday, January 31, according to the official calendar released by the federal health institution. Although it is usually made on the first business day of each month, in this case February 1st falls on a Saturday, so the payment is made on the last business day of the previous month.
The payment is received in the bank account in the name of the pensioner that was provided when completing the pension process.
