This situation yesterday motivated his lawyer José Mejía Chávez to denounce that his client is a victim of regulation.
As explained, the officer’s neighbor warned that a couple, made up of an unidentified man and woman, were in the vicinity of their homes aboard a vehicle from which they got out to follow her on foot.
On a second occasion, the lawyer indicated, she left her home and boarded a public transportation bus; Throughout that journey she was followed by the man and the woman.
Finally, Mejía added, on a third occasion they both approached him, asked him if he lived in the area and asked him if he knew Izquierdo Yarlequé. The woman, however, did not respond for safety reasons.
The officer’s lawyer informed RPP that he will request images from security cameras in the area to establish the license plate of the car and eventually also the identity of its occupants.
