Santo Domingo.- The Permanent Commission of Finance of the Senate of the Republic began the study of several legislative initiativesamong these the bill which provides for the abolition of the State Sugar Council (CEA), from the Executive Branch.
The president of the permanent commission, Faride Raful (National District), reported that they agreed to invite the inter-institutional commissions that analyze the assets and employment of the CEA, to offer details about the process that is carried out in the respective institution.
