Juan Burgos, president of the Oversight Commission, summoned the former president of Congress, Alejandro Soto, to answer for the appointment of Jorge Torres Saravia, operator of the alleged prostitution network in Parliament.

What topics will be addressed in the summons to Alejandro Soto?
In the same document it is specified that the topics to be discussed will be three:
- Alleged events involving the person of Jorge Torres Saravia – former head of the Legal and Constitutional Advisory Office of the Congress of the Republic, regarding an alleged prostitution network in Congress, an attack that occurred against the person who was Andrea Vidal Gómez in life, former servant of the Congress of the Republic.
- Appointment of Jorge Torres Saravia as head of the Legal and Constitutional Advisory Office of the Congress of the Republic.
- Hiring of personnel during his administration as President of the Congress of the Republic.
The letter indicates that the invitation is aimed at the fight against corruption within the framework of Law No. 27785, Organic Law of the National Control System and the Comptroller General of the Republic and Law No. 28716, Law of Internal Control of State Entities.
Contacted by La República, Congressman Soto claimed that he is outside Lima and that upon his return he will inform his decision regarding his attendance.
