The vice minister for Latin America, Rander Peña, participated this Thursday in the Migration Meeting held in Mexico City.
“In the name of President Nicolás Maduro, we have brought the truth of the Venezuelan people and exposed the structural causes that have motivated Venezuelan migration, mainly economic,” said the vice chancellor on his Telegram channel.
Peña clarified that the main cause of migration responded to the criminal unilateral coercive measures imposed against the country, which generated losses of 99% of national resources.
The vice minister of the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry also denounced the business that a group of unscrupulous Venezuelans promoted and have made of migration and “that is why the fight against coyotism and all these criminal organizations.”
“We also reaffirm our commitment to the agreements of the meeting in Palenque, Chiapas, Mexico, in October 2023, where high authorities from the region participated,” he indicated.
Peña confirmed to compatriots outside the country that Venezuela “is prepared to receive each of them upon their return to the homeland, where “together we can build the country we want. “We hug the Venezuelan family, see you at home!” he noted.
