The former president of the Council of Ministers, Alberto Otarolaspoke about the diligence carried out at his home by the Prosecutor’s Office due to the investigation being followed for the alleged generic active bribery.

“I want to inform you that this procedure is being carried out at my sole request and that, in addition, I have requested in writing that my confidentiality of communications and my bank reserve be lifted, which is what must be done so that there is full record of this new lie, of this new aggression against the speaker,” Otárola told Canal N.

“I am facing many complaints and tax files, but to this day I have ten files filed. This will undoubtedly be one more,” he said.

As is known, the Attorney General’s Office carried out a home inspection in the property of the former president of the Council of Ministers through the Area of ​​Illicit Enrichment and Constitutional Complaints and as part of the investigation being followed for the alleged crime. of generic active bribery.

Through a tweet, the former premier responded to the Prosecutor’s Office detailing that this diligence is due to a “slanderous complaint about alleged payment to congressmen for the Club Apurímac case.”

It is worth noting that this case came to light after Yaziré Pinedo’s complaint about the alleged purchase of votes from congressmen so that the -then- Minister of Development and Social Inclusion, Dina Boluarte, would not be censored.
