INBA organizes activity in Aceguá to raise awareness
The National Institute of Animal Welfare of the Ministry of Livestock, Agriculture and Fisheries has been carrying out a national educational tour on animal welfare, tenure and responsible agricultural production.
In this context, last night the film was shown How to Train your Dragon at the Lago Merín Municipal Parador. At the same time, workshops and games were held with those present on animal welfare and responsible ownership.
This activity will move tomorrow to the northern border of the department. The same film will be shown in Aceguá, initially in Plaza Un Lugar de Todos and in case of bad weather (storms or rain) at the premises of the Sociedad Criolla La Tropilla.
The INBA reported that all functions are outdoors and powered by solar energy.
This National Educational Tour began in August of last year (2024). At the end of the school year, the Workshops that had been taking place in public schools throughout the country with 4th grade children. To 6th. year, they are now done in public spaces and open to children of all ages.
These Workshops seek to promote animal welfare, tenure and responsible agricultural production.
According to the communication that EL PROFESIONAL Diario received from the National Institute of Animal Welfare, these entities are firmly betting on education to achieve the cultural change that the country needs.
At the end of the workshops, the film screening takes place, also free and in the same public place, with relevant messages about the human-animal bond, empathy and respect for all forms of life, including human beings themselves. .
It is emphasized that all equipment used is powered by solar energy.
The tour is in its final stages, therefore the inhabitants of the different towns, in this case the Municipality of Aceguá, are invited to accompany it by attending and participating.
