Santo Domingo. – Pantoja will have a hospital, the legal consultant of the Executive Branch reported this Tuesday, Antoliano Peraltaafter indicating that the declaration of public utility of a property of more than 4,000 square meters with a significant improvement built on it to build a health center.
Peralta reported that, through this operation, the aim is to provide a modern healthcare facility to the municipal district of Los Alcarrizos.
He also added that, at this time, the project is in the final phase of the acquisition of the property and in the coming days the bidding process will begin to legally determine which engineering company will undertake the necessary adaptation work.
From there, he indicated, the installation of new floors and ceilings, the installation of elevators and the installation of certain electrical terminations will take place.
He expressed that, according to the information provided by the executive director of the National Health Service (SNS), Mario Lama, the Pantoja Municipal Hospital will have multiple offices, imaging equipment (X-ray, sonography, mammography, etc.), an area emergency with spaces for observation and hydration, 30 inpatient beds, three pre-surgical beds, three post-surgical beds, two operating rooms and a delivery room.
